CareNote Updates – May 2026

A diverse care ministry team standing and connecting in a warm gold and purple office, holding phones with floating notification cards and a task checklist appearing around them.
May's updates make it easier to coordinate care, share the load, and stay connected as a team.

This month's CareNote updates include the new Care Table meal coordination system, SHAPE Assessment spiritual gifts discovery, and enhanced Group Manager capabilities. As always, we're committed to helping your care ministry teams respond more effectively and work more efficiently.

New Features

Care Table Meal Coordination

CareNote now includes a comprehensive Care Table system for coordinating meals and practical support during times of need. This new feature helps your team organize volunteers, schedule deliveries, and track commitments—making it easier than ever to provide tangible care to families in crisis.

S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Integration

Discover and develop your congregation's spiritual gifts with the new S. H. A. P. E. Assessment tool. This comprehensive spiritual inventory helps people identify their Spiritual gifts, Heart passions, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences—enabling better volunteer placement and ministry alignment throughout your church.

Enhanced Group Manager Capabilities

Group managers can now assign care requests directly to providers in their groups and access specialized management tools. This streamlines care coordination within ministry teams while maintaining proper oversight and accountability.

Core Platform Improvements

Prayer Activity Tracking

Prayer Activity panels now appear on prayer requests, giving you better visibility into how your team is interceding for specific needs. This helps ensure consistent prayer coverage and follow-up for ongoing requests.

Ongoing Care Request Support

Long-term pastoral care situations can now be marked as Ongoing, preventing them from appearing in stalled request reports while keeping them active in your care system. This is perfect for extended counseling relationships or chronic health situations.

Active Workload Consolidated View

A new My Workload page brings together all your assignments, tasks, and follow-ups in one streamlined interface. Filter by due dates, view upcoming deadlines, and track interaction follow-ups—helping you stay on top of your care responsibilities.
