We're excited to introduce a new feature in CareNote: Visitations. This functionality is a significant addition for care providers and administrators, offering a streamlined way to schedule and manage visitation plans for care receivers. Let's delve into how you can effectively use this feature.

Setting Up Visitation Schedules

Step 1: Accessing the Feature

  1. Navigate to Visitations: In CareNote, under 'Care Receivers', find the 'Visitations' section.
  2. Adding a New Visitation: Click on 'New Visitation' to schedule a new visit.

Step 2: Creating a Visitation Schedule

  1. Selecting a Care Receiver: Choose a care receiver, like Alice, from your list.
  2. Assigning a Care Provider: Appoint a care provider for the visitation.
  3. Setting Frequency: Decide on the visitation frequency (e.g., quarterly, yearly).
  4. Scheduling Dates: Set the schedule for the upcoming period (e.g., next year, this year).

Managing and Tracking Visits

Step 3: Viewing Assignments and Completing Visits

  1. Care Provider's View: Log in as the care provider (e.g., Lino) to view their assigned visitations and the remaining number of visits.
  2. Documenting Completed Visits: After making a visit, like to Albin, enter the visit details, add any additional care providers involved, and submit follow-up notes if needed.
  3. Automatic Notification: Upon submission, the visit is recorded, and subscribed users receive notifications.

Step 4: Starting Early Visits and Setting Reminders

  1. Initiating Early Visits: You can also start visits ahead of schedule, like an early visit to Alice.
  2. Reminder Setup: CareNote automatically sets reminders based on the visitation period, ensuring care providers are alerted for upcoming visits.

Benefits of the Visitations Feature

  • Enhanced Scheduling: Easily plan and manage visitation schedules for multiple care receivers.
  • Automated Reminders: Care providers receive timely reminders for their upcoming visits.
  • Efficient Documentation: Quickly document visits and follow-up actions, keeping all relevant parties informed.
  • Improved Care Coordination: This feature allows for better coordination amongst care teams, ensuring consistent care delivery.
